It was an idyllic spring evening when I met with Brittany and Ryan for their portrait session in Lafayette Park. Brittany and Ryan brought their adorable little pupper Luna, and their little family of 3 was just precious! I loved every second of this session, and they definitely looked like naturals in front of the camera! (Keep an eye out for Luna’s adorable expressions when you scroll through below!)
Since so many trees in St. Louis are still looking a little dead this time of year, I was very excited to see the sole blooming tree in the park right up front! We started off our session with the gorgeous baby pink blossoms, and little Luna was loving them too! She gave us some great faces, and showed off her love for her parents.
Then we got to spend time taking GORGEOUS couples shots, and the pink blooms perfectly accented Brittany and Ryan’s outfits. Next we embraced some of the golden hour light in an open field, and then finally made our way into one of the cutest neighborhoods in STL. The row houses are all different colors, with vintage and classic designs distinguishing one unit from the next. They make a beautiful backdrop for images with a bit more of an urban vibe! I have fallen in love with sessions in Lafayette Park because you can have both natural and urban feels to the final images!
Brittany and Ryan, thank you for trusting me to take your photos! You are so sweet and I loved getting to see you two just be yourselves in front of the camera! We captured some really special moments, that I hope you will be able to treasure for years to come! I can’t wait to work with you both again in the future!
