Summer is wrapping up, and with labor day weekend it is really starting to feel like fall is coming! (Even though the start of fall is still about 2 weeks away.) So I was excited to have this extended family session to wrap up my summer sessions, and lead into fall! While I love all of my clients, it is so fun to get to work with repeat clients and see their families. I especially love seeing how much the kiddos grow and change! That makes this session extra special, because one of these families enjoyed their time enough to bring back their extended family for another round of photos!
Extended family sessions are a lot of fun! They sometimes get a little hectic-but that adds to the experience! The young children have their cousins to play with, and if photo sessions aren’t your forte then there are some definite built in breaks while I work with the other individual family units! I also love watching grandparents interact with their grandchildren. They have such a special bond that is just begging to be captured on camera! And this session had one moment in particular with little Phoebe and her grandpa! (Don’t forget to scroll to see what I am taking about!)
To the Edwards family, thank you for trusting me with your extended family session! I had a lot of fun with all of you, working with some of you again, and meeting others for the first time! Your kiddos all kept me smiling the entire time we were together, and we captured some moments that I hope you will be able to treasure forever! I would love to work together again in the future! Enjoy the rest of your summer and dive head first into fall!
