Family portrait sessions are always a lot of fun! And you get the sweetest memories to hang on your walls. But sometimes, a family wants a session that is a little extra special, and a little out of the box. And that is exactly what Megan got when we booked her family session at Laumeier Sculpture Park! Not only did Megan style her family to the nines, but we also got to capture moments with a location that has a lot of meaning to her family!
If you have never been to Laumeier Sculpture park, you might be a little surprised at what you see. From the sculpture of an eyeball, to small steps carved into a hill, you can see a little bit of everything! There were so many fun options to choose from, and if we had more time we could have taken the time to see each and every one! But we didn’t, so instead we just hit up some of Megan and Frank’s favorite sculptures. And although spring in Missouri is always a little unpredictable, we lucked out with a cloudy, but rainless evening. All of these things combined resulted in this adorable family receiving some extra sentimental portraits!
Megan and Frank, thank you for choosing me to work with your family! You have the sweetest daughter, who is so spunky and adorable to be around! I still can’t get over the AMAZING dresses you picked out. Frank, you were such a good sport, and the whole family was down for any pose I suggested. I had a blast working with you all, and I think we captured some amazing memories! I hope you enjoy and treasure these photos for years and years to come!
