What do I love about 6-month milestone photos? Your baby is no longer just a baby,-so much has changed! It is wonderful to watch a little one grow and develop, and each new stage brings something special. But it all flies by so fast! That is why I was so excited when Leah asked me to document her daughter at 6 months old! Every session I have photographed has had something new and wonderful about it. For this session, it was photographing such a calm child, who had plenty of smiles for the camera! And we got to do several outfit changes to get tons of variety!
One thing I have really been enjoying this winter is getting to feature client’s homes in their sessions! You will notice the adorable gold and white fireplace when you scroll through the photos below. In-home photos are extra special for a couple of reasons: you feel comfortable when you are in a familiar location, and you also get to have memories that display your home! (To see more like this check out this in-home baby announcement session!) Before we started shooting Leah and Mark gave me a quick tour, and we selected a couple of spots with the best lighting. One of my favorite spots in their house was a white brick accent wall! It was right next to the best window, and we got the most beautifully lit images!
Mark, Leah, and Lucy, you were so much fun to work with! Lucy looked so precious is each of her different outfits, and it was hard to choose my favorite images to include below!
