There is something so fun about repeat clients. Especially when the clients are family. You have seen them in many stages of life: single, married, starting a family, and now for Alicia and Pete, bringing their third child into the world! There is little else as special as a new baby, and my goal for this maternity session was to capture all of the beauty and joy that family brings. I can only imagine how much work it must be to get two youngsters camera ready, in addition to yourselves. And these 2 parents managed to have it done by 7:30 AM!
There is something extra special about an early morning maternity session. Parks are so still and peaceful when you have the space to yourself, and the moments just feel a little more magical. It was an overcast day. We were all crossing our fingers that there would be time finish the session before any rain came down. Alicia wore the perfect springtime dress to brighten things up! And although it was fairly cold for May in St. Charles, Missouri, the kiddos were troopers.
We ended up with the sweetest moments captured as a family of 4 (but soon to be 5!) Alicia was glowing and made the 3rd trimester look effortless. Pete, like most guys, may not love getting his picture taken. But you would never know because he was such a great sport. You can see the love he has for his wife and children in each of these images! Alicia and Pete, thank you for choosing me to capture this special time in your family story. There is never a dull moment with your family, and your children are always so sweet to be around! I can’t wait to meet your new little blessing! I hope you always look back at these memories and treasure the time you spent together, and the time you spent preparing for your next life chapter!
