Senior Portraits in Forest Park, St. Louis, Missouri

For a lot of high school seniors, senior portraits are a big deal! And it is always extra special when you can get gorgeous photos with your besties to have pictures to hang in your dorm. That is only part of what made this particular session so special. I had the opportunity to work with a group of 8 girls who have been friends since grade school. These are girls who grew up together from early childhood and have maintained a close-knit group through their senior year of high school (and I don’t see that ending any time soon!) This group of ladies even attend 4 different high schools, and will be venturing out to 6 separate colleges in the fall of 2021.

From the moment these ladies showed up they impressed me with their maturity, grace, and joy. We started out the shoot wearing t-shirts for the college that each girl will be attending next year. I love how these images represent an adventure that will soon begin, but also show the roots that will bring each girl back home to their friends. People who they will always be able to count on, even though they will be at different schools and taking different paths in life.

CC, Maya, Olivia, Cayla, Erin, Alaina, Katelynn, and Claire, thank you all for trusting me with your senior portraits. I had a great time getting to know each and every one of you, and your kindness and generosity really touched my heart! I hope you take the memory of this evening along with the gorgeous images we captured, and carry them with you into your future! Hang up one of these shots in your dorm, and always remember the friends who made you who you are, and support who you are becoming!
