Meet Claire, a sweet senior at Timberland High School! I met Claire and her mom Christie at Forest Park in mid August for her super fun senior session! While classes hadn’t started yet, senior year prep was well underway. And that includes her senior portraits (my favorite part of senior year)!
A lot of seniors choose to take their senior portraits in the summer because it can be hard to squeeze a session into a busy school year full of extracurriculars like soccer and basketball (in Claire’s case!) Summer is also a great time for senior portraits if you like greenery, some flowers, and gorgeous (albeit sometimes a bit warm) weather! We had a beautiful evening for Claire’s photos, and Claire really brought her A game! She shared her spunky personality with me and my camera, but also gave us a glimpse into her sweet nature.
I had a blast getting to chat and hang out with Claire and her mom! We traipsed around Forest Park for a bit, before heading to one of my favorite senior locations: atop a parking garage, with a view of the arch. I love when my St. Louis seniors take photos that commemorate where they are from! It makes their photos all the more meaningful since, as high school seniors, they will be hading off to college, jobs, or something new the next year and may end up in a place different from where they started.
Claire and Christie, thank you so much for allowing me to be part of this special year of your life! I hope these photos are a lasting memory, and a really fun experience! Enjoy everything your senior year has to offer-you have such a bright future ahead of you!
