I will never get tired of photographing senior sessions! What makes a senior session so special? They are so excited to be in front of the camera! Now there are plenty of people who get excited to be in front of the camera, seniors just seem to be a little extra excited. They have spent hours searching Pinterest to figure out the perfect outfit. They painstakingly applied makeup, paying attention to every single brush stroke. Dug through their jewelry boxes for the perfect necklace, or maybe even a mom or friend’s! And Gina was no exception!
Gina showed up to her senior session having thought out every little detail, and ready to get in front of the camera! She even brought Max, her trusty service dog, with his own graduation cap! They were both ready to walk across that stage and get their diplomas. With graduation only a couple of days away, we got her session in just in time to celebrate! Gina brought the personality and joy to the front of the camera. These are the kind of sessions that leave me, as a photographer, feeling the most fulfilled. It is one thing to be able to provide beautiful photos, but it is another thing entirely to be able to help someone feel beautiful and confident in front of the camera!
Gina, thank you for sharing your joy, and being ready to jump right in to every location and pose that I brought you to. And most of all, thank you for showing me how important true joy in life is. Your senior session was a lot of fun, and the time flew by! I hope you enjoy these photos, and always remember the joy and light you exuded in front of the camera.
